Our Story

Located in Jackson, MI, RL Coatings was started in 2010 with Rubenn's love of customizing cars. He wanted to have as much control over the design process as possible. Especially with when it came to colors! Powder coating rims became his biggest love with it! With hundreds of set of rims coated to date it is still his favorite thing to do! Though the powder coating was still just more of a hobby for him while he worked his day job. He ran into some physical health issues in late 2015 which started causing issues with the day job. During the summer of 2016 he found something to powder coat and customize on a smaller scale. He started customizing stainless steel tumblers! The possibilities became ENDLESS!! Color combos! Design combos! Custom image building and design! Now, with over 5,000 custom tumblers under his belt he has become a leader in creating custom tumblers!
